NCS recognized as a Public Utility in Londrina
NCS — Nossa Comunidade Sustentável has been recognized as a public-utility organization by the municipality of Londrina, in Paraná, Brazil. The recognition came through Law No. 14,158, of May 27, 2026, authored by councilman Sidnei Matias dos Santos and sanctioned by the Londrina city government.
What the recognition means
A public-utility declaration is the municipal government's formal acknowledgment that an organization's work serves the community's interest. For NCS, registered under CNPJ 57.498.583/0001-40, the title reaffirms its public commitment to education, digital inclusion, and community well-being in Londrina.
In practice, the recognition strengthens the organization's institutional standing and broadens the possibilities for partnerships with the public sector and other institutions.
Transparency as the counterpart
The law itself sets the counterpart: each year, by April 30, the organization must submit a report of its activities to the municipal administration. It is a commitment NCS takes on naturally, since accountability and transparency are already part of how the organization works.
We carry on with the same purpose as always: transforming realities through education, now with this further recognition from the city that is home to us.
